Farklı pH Değerlerinin Lemna gibba L. ve Lemna minor L.’de Nikel Alınımı ve Klorofi l Miktarına Etkisi

In this study, the effect of different pH on the nickel absorbtion capacity and amount of chlorophyll of Lemna minor and Lemna gibba was investigated
under laboratory conditions.At high pH value (pH = 7), we observed increasing amount of kla and klb with increasing pH. Additionally, nickel accumulation capacity was signifi cantly reduced at pH 4. It means, nickel absorbtion capacity was stimulated by an decrease in pH value. Furthermore, considerably higher accumulation of nickel were found in Lemna minor rather than in Lemna gibba.
