The aim of this study was to determine the effects of feeding frequency on growth performance of aged 2–3, different sized broodstock of Black Sea trout (Salmo trutta labrax Pallas, 1811) which stocked in a tank. The study was performed by using 190 fish with a mean weight of 364.43±121.29 g. The sampled fish was counted and divided equally into two tanks. The tanks were named daily feeding frequencies of one (ff1) and two (ff2) and for each group three sub-groups were named small (<350g), medium (350–500g) and large (>500g) by initial weight. At the end of the study, body weight of the ff2–small and ff2–medium groups were detected higher than ff1–small and ff1–medium groups (p<0.01; p<0.05). Also, small sub–groups of each feeding frequency groups were have worse growth performance than others sub–groups (p<0.01).
