Karakaya Baraj Gölü’nde Gökkuşağı Alabalığı (Oncorhynchus mykiss , Walbaum 1792) Avcılığı ve Av Verimi

This study was made in 10th Region of Karakaya Dam Lake between February 2010 and March 2010. Fishing and fishing efficiency of rainbow
trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) that escaped from net cages and grown up in the natural environment around study area were investigated. For this
purpose, 5200 m nets belong to 5 fishermen in this region were examined and these nets were monofilament gill nets with 0.18-0.23 mm in material
thickness and 0.35-0.37 in hanging ratio. In the study region, four times fishing was made with 40 mm mesh size monofilament drag gill nets
belonging to fishermen. At this fishing, 55 rainbow trout were caught and their total lengths, body weights and ages were determined.
