In the present study, it has been evaluated mite specimens belonging to the genus Platytrombidium collected from Erzurum and Gümüşhane
province. This genus firstly recorded for the Turkish acari fauna. Description and original drawings of the postlarvae and larvae specimens of
Platytrombidium fasciatum (C. L. Koch, 1836) have been given. Measurements were made for some body parts of the specimens.
