Özet

Turkey is located at the intersection of the center of the world's three major geographic location of which are very
different in terms of, geomorphological structure and ecology and biodiversity. They form one of the world's most important
gene pool. Turkey has a rich flora and a large number of both endemic and non-endemic. Turkey has large number of
geophytes (bulbous-tuberous plant) that grow naturally. Flora of Turkey has around 1000 Geophytes (bulbs, tubers, tuberous
rooted, rizomlu etc) taxons. Kayseri province is rich in plant geophytes of which many plants are endemic. Within the
boundaries of the province of Kayseri, out of the total available number of 1170 taxa, 302 are endemic taxa of
which 2 (Crocus ancyrensis (HERBERT) MAW and Crocus kotschyanus C. KOCH subsp. cappadocicus Mathew) belongs to
the family Iridaceae. Genus Iris L. has 4 species (Siehe galatica Iris, Iris yellow SCHOTT EX BAKER, Iris and Iris
stenophylla HAUSSKNSchachtii Markgraf. siehe EX BAKER ET). In this study, in the province of Kayseri information
