İstavrit (Trachurus trachurus, L. 1758) Balığında Kaydedilen Nematod Larvalarının Balık Boy Gruplarına Göre Karşılaştırmalı Yaygınlık, Ortalama Yoğunluk ve Bolluk Parametrelerinin Belirlenmesi

In this study, 176 horse mackerel which were being sold in Erzurum fish markets were examined monthly by parasitological method from
November 2007 to March 2008. Two nematodes species (Anisakis simplex and Contracaecum aduncum) were recorded which are belong to 158
infectious fishes. Total number of parasites in 8 fishes infected with Anisakis simplex is 41, prevalence and mean intensity were determined 4.55%
and 5.22, respectively. A nine hundred and fifty-four individuals were collected from 150 fishes infected with Contracaecum aduncum. Prevalence
and mean intensity belong to Contracaecum aduncum are 85.22% and 6.36, respectively. According to size group of horse mackerel prevalence
(%), average density and abundance parameters were recorded 70.58%, 5.16, 3.63 for 8-8.9 cm, 85.71%, 6.54, 5.61 for 10-11.9 cm, 91.11%, 7.02,
6.40 for 12-13.9 cm, 50.00%, 13.00, 6.50 for 14-15.9 cm, respectively. In the statistical analysis, an increase in parameters of prevalence (%),
mean intensity and abundance in parallel to increasing fish size were observed . As a result, relationship between prevalence, mean intensity and
abundance parameters with fish size groups were detected important in p<0.005 significance level.
