Özet

While the national economies are being added on the international economies, the advantages of development are not shared fairly and the environment is being damaged for this aim. It is clear that the globalisation has vigorous impacts on the environment depending on the countries’ environmental policies. Whereas “environment”, “trade” and “development” are the terms which can not be separated.This study is based on the impact of OECD (Organisation For Economic Cooperation And Development) upon the environment by the international trade and its institutional rules. To conceive this aim, firstly OECD’s organizational situation and decision mechanism will be studied.In the contex of OECD’s last policies, the environmental outlook on Turkey will be analyzed and after the recommendation of the organization the study will be terminated with a general assessment.
