Antakya Semt Pazarlarındaki Bazı Doğal Bitkilerin Etnobotanik Yönden Araştırılması

Özet

Due to the remarkable sale of natural plants at thr neighborhood markets of the Antakya (Hatay centre), an ethnobotanic study has been started
on these plants. Many aromatic plants generally sold as vegetables at the neighborhood markets of Antakya and as medicinal plants at herbalists
have been chosen as the material of the study. The most striking aspect of the study is the comparision of relations between locals’ utilization of
these plants and their scientific characteristic in terms of ethnobotanic. By the studies done periodically at different seasons, local names of the many
aromatic taxa’s within the field of research have been identified and also which ones how often are used for medical purposes have been put forward.
