Zernek-Baraj Gölü (Van / Türkiye) Zooplankton Faunası

Özet

This study was carried out between April-November 2007 March-October 2008, and zooplankton fauna and its seasonal variations were
examined in the Zernek Dam Lake. Zooplankton samples in two separate periods with different characteristics and selected two stations in the
lake , with the vertical and horizontal plankton was collected. Zooplanktonic organisms in the lake [B/m3] 94 % of Rotifera, Cladocera 5 % and 1
% of the Copepod species were formed. Rotifera group 13 taxa Brachionus urceolaris, , Brachionus calyciflorus, Keratella cochlearis, Notholca
squamula, Kellicottia longispina, Mytilina spinigera, Lepadella ovalis, Lecane luna, Synchaeta pectinata, Polyarthra vulgaris, Asplanchna
priodonta, Filinia longiseta, Filinia terminalis, Cladocera group 2 taxa Daphnia longispina , Daphnia magna. , the 2 copepod taxa Arctodiaptomus
sp.Cyclops vicinus. were found. Rotifera recorded as the dominant group in all species.
