In this study, the Haciosman Nature Conservation Area, located in a forest in swamp of two different tree species Acer campestre L. and Alnus
glutinosa L. of development throughout the season, the N concentration, specific leaf area (SLA) exchange and foliar N resorption was investigated.
“Resorption” is transferring of nutrients to perennial tissues has a great importance because it consists of an important part of nutrient cycling.
Resorption is also closely related to leaf senescence and conservation of mineral nutrients. Resorption has been affected by nutrient concentration
of soil, tree species and using strategies of nutrients. Resorption should be evaluated together these factors.Resorption efficiency of nitrogen-fixing Alnus glutinosa L. has lower than that of non-fixing Acer campestre L. These results suggest that these species have different values of resorption, these genotype differences in the characteristics of species (eg, nitrogen fixation nitrogen fixation against those who do not), the link could be demonstrated. Thus, the resorption efficiency, as well as properties of genotypes were thought to be important mycorrhizal relationships.
