The present study aimed to investigate the copper biosorption of 3 cyanobacterial strains. In biosorption studies, 0.16g
biomass application provided the best removal in all copper biosorptions. Also for all species, optimum pH was determined
as 4, and optimum initial ion concentration was determined as 20 mg/L. The optimum shaking speed for copper biosorption
was determined as 150 rpm. For Anabaena sp. GO7, copper removal was found 46% at 150 rpm.
