Türkiye’den Eutrombidium locustarum’un (Walsh, 1866) (Acari: Microtrombidiidae) Yeni Lokalite Kaydı ve Yayılışı

Abstract

Microtrombidiidae Thor is one of the most common families with 115 genera. Larvae of Eutrombidium constitutes the most frequent parasite of
grasshoppers and is therefore regarded as promising candidate for the biological control of acridid pests. Three female and one adult specimens,
collected from Kadırga plateau Gümüşhane province as a new locality, are evaluated. In this study, we aimed to contribute to the distribution
of the species and Turkish acari fauna.
