The purposeof this study was to reveal the relationship between precipitation and wheat seed yield aby correlation and principal component analysis (PCA), and to determine the effect of precipitation on yield. In this study, the relationship between prevailing precipitation and wheat yields in the provinces examined in Türkiye, between the precipitation periods effective and yield were revealed by using correlation and principal component analyzes. In this study, precipitation and yield relationship for 19 years (2000-2019) inthe provinces of Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Bingöl, Bitlis, Burdur, Edirne, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Hakkari, Kars, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Konya, Kütahya, Malatya, Muş, Nevşehir, Niğde, Sivas, Uşak, Van, Yozgat Aksaray, Bayburt, Karaman, Kırıkkale, Ardahan and Iğdır were examined. As a result of correlation and principal component analysis, a positive and significant relationship was determined between wheat yield and April, May, June and September and total precipitation. In terms of precipitation, the provinces of Kütahya, Yozgat, Uşak, Muş, Bitlis, Sivas, Afyon, Ankara, Eskişehir, Iğdır, Erzincan and Kırıkkale showed more stablity than the others; no stability was observed in the other provinces.
