Curcuminin Gökkuşağı Alabalığı (Oncorhynchus mykiss, Walbaum, 1792)' nda Bazı Hematolojik Parametrelere Etkisi

Abstract

In this study, the effect of curcumin on some haematological parameters of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) were investigated. The amounts of 10, 20 and 40 mg curcumin for per kg diet were given to fish for 21 days. At the end of this period, haematocrit value, erythrocyte and leucocyte counts and haemoglobin level were measured in the blood samples obtained from the fish. There were statistically significant increases in the haematocrit value, the erythrocyte and leucocyte counts of fish applied curcumin (p<0.05). However, there were no statistically significant increases in haemoglobin level (p>0.05).
