Abstract

Structural and biotechnical features of trout farms in Çamlıgöze Dam Lake was investigated in this study. In addition, aquaculture farming mechanization in the direction of the characteristics in terms of this business which has a significant manufacturing capacity examined, and the technical facilities and equipment used in machine tools are classified and analyzed. The data from 5 fish farms beloning the same company were obtained by the questionary between February 2016 and July 2016. All of the trout farms established on the Dam Lakes farming in net cages. The total water surface area that the companies hired was determined as 174,000 m2. The deed area of Company on land, it is stated that to be 25,000 m2. The oretical and actual total capacity of company were estimated as 4,250 tons / year and 2500-3000 tons / year respectively.The average harvest stocking density in the cages changed from 10.43 to 12.52 kg/m3. Feed conversion ratio (FCR), is determined as the average 1.00. Food used in the farms obtained from the feed mill established on the edge of the Dam. Fry brought from the same company-owned hatchery located in Kayseri. 50 % of cultured fish marketing to processing plants in Malatya and the others in the other provinces (Trabzon,Giresun, Samsun, Ankara). Market size of trout in all fish farms has seen to be an average of 250 grams. The retail price was reported to be 10
TL/kg.
