Synechocystis sp. İzolatlarının Ni(II) Duyarlılıklarının Belirlenmesi

Özet

The main objective of this study was to investigate the susceptibility of ten Synechocystis sp. isolates from Kucukcekmece Lake to Ni(II)
heavy metal exposure. All of the cyanobacterial isolates were exposed to Nickel(II) concentrations in the range of 5-25 mg/L for 14 days. Following
exposure the chlorophyll-a values were determined. The results were processed by the probit analysis and the EC50 values of the isolates were
calculated. Our results showed that the most resistance isolate was Synechocystis sp. BASO403 (EC50= 17,41 mg/L), whereas the less resistance
isolate was BASO404 (EC50= 2,56 mg/l). The data obtained from the present study indicated that the Synechocystis sp. isolates display a differantial
susceptibility to Ni(II).
