Oleuropein’in Prostat (PC-3), Meme (MCF-7) ve Hepatoma (HEP3B) Kanser Hücrelerinde Anti-tümör Etkisinin Belirlenmesi

In the present study, the antitumor effects of oleuropein which the most important phenolic compounds in olive leave extract were investigated
in Human hepatoma cells (Hep3B), Human breast adenocarcinoma (MCF–7) and human prostate cancer models (PC-3). Different concentration
oleuropein were incubated in corresponding cells for 24h, 48h and 72h incubations. Antitumor effect of oleuropein was determined by MTT test was
performed in each time points. The results were analyzed statistically by one way ANOVA test. The dose-dependent antitumor activity of oleuropein
was determined in MCF-7 and PC-3 cells. In addition, the differential effect was observed due to the cell type specific activity of oleuropein since
oleuropein led to the increase of cell proliferation in human hepatoma cells (Hep3B)
