This study was conducted to calculate insect bio-diversity parameters in different habitat types in Yuzuncu Yil University and Edremit in
Van porovince. The natural habitats; geophytes, grassland and Pinus sp. forest, grassland with human activity, application and non-application of
pesticide habitats were chosen and Shannon-Wiener, Simpson diversity, Simpson dominancy and Shannon Evenness parameters are compared.
Hence insect Shannon-Wiener bio-diversity was measured the highest in geophyte habitat with 2.7533 and Apple Orchard used pesticide was found
the lowest diverse with 0.9347. According to result of Simpson dominancy parameters, while Apple Orchard used pesticide habitat was found the
most dominant habitat with 0.53, geophyte habitat was found the lowest with 0.09. Result of Shannon Evenness showed that Apple Orchard in
Edremit was calculated the lowest evenness in the rest of the habitats. Percentage similarity showed that natural, semi-natural and unnatural habitats
are similar to each other.
