Mustafa Kemal Üniveritesi Kampüsü Gündüz Kelebeği (Lepidoptera) Faunasına Katkılar

Abstract

Our study aims to detect the butterfly species at the Mustafa Kemal Universty Tayfur Sökmen Campus. Sampling was carried out with atrap
between July 01, 2009 and August 30, 2009. Sampling within this period was undertaken only on Saturdays and Sundays. Totally sixteen species
were identified out of four families belonging to lepidoptera order. Hipparchia semele (Linnaeus, 1758) is first record for Lepidoptera fauna of
Turkey.
