Abstract

This study was conducted to determine appropriate maize genotypes for silage production in Eskisehir conditions. The research was conducted
on research field of Eskisehir Osmangazi University Agriculture Faculty during crop growth season of 2011. The experimental design was a
randomized complete block with three replication and twenty-three corn genotypes were used in the experiment. Results revealed that, considerable
differences were found among genotypes in green hay yield, varying between 6698,81-13487,14 kg/da. So, ADA 3.34, ADA 6.9, ADA 6.48, ADA
7.2, ADA 7.14, ADA 7.15, ADA 95.10, P31Y43 and ADA 523 genotypes had the highest green hay yield, and were determined as appropriate
genotypes for silage production in Eskisehir conditions.
