This research aimed to reveal geographical features and plant diversity of aquatic ecosystems of Azerbaijan. Land studies related to this subject were carried out twice a month during April-October between 2013-2015. These ecosystems are Azerbaijan; Cür-Araz plains, Absheron, Samur-Deveçi, Qobustan and Nahcivan are found in wider areas in the flat sections. The waters-swamp ecosystems of Sarısu, Ağzıbirçala, Akgöl, Candargöl, Büyük Alagöl, Gökgöl, Hacıgabul, Büyük-Şor, Aşık
