The subgenus Mesoplophora (Mesoplophora) Berlese, 1904 was not previously recorded in Turkey. In this study a short
redescription and SEM investigations of the firstly recorded species Mesoplophora (Mesoplophora) michaeliana Berlese, 1904 is
provided. Morphological featerures and disrtibution of the species are also given.
